Fernando Diego Magnalardo y Jorge Omar Vera, Directores de Hipólito Restó & Arte, cuyo nombre rinde un humilde tributo a quien fuera uno de los presidentes más respetados de la Argentina, Don Hipólito Yrigoyen, fusionan la gastronomía con la difusión permanentes de artistas plásticos consagrados y emergentes en el Restó ubicado en plena City porteña.

Fuera del circuito concurrido de las galerías de arte de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, existe un espacio que combina sus tradicionales comidas con exposiciones de artistas plásticos consagrados y emergentes, logrando ser un espacio cultural reconocido en la zona. Allí, adosada a una de las columnas de granito que sostiene el actual edificio de catorce pisos, se encuentra una placa de bronce que dice: "En este sitio el 03 de Julio de 1933 murió Don Hipólito Yrigoyen…” Así nació Hipólito Restó & Arte, inaugurado el 10 de Septiembre de 2001, en homenaje a ese ex-presidente que vivió los últimos años de su vida, alquilando una habitación en aquel conventillo que ocupara éste, nuestro lugar. Con una propuesta gastronómica diferente, que a través de los años se fue afianzando en la zona, Hipólito Restó & Arte es sinónimo, hoy en día, del buen café y la buena comida. Su gastronomía tradicional y simple es elaborada con ingredientes de primera calidad, tanto en fiambres como así también en quesos, carnes , verduras, frutas y excelentes panes que permiten realizar una variada sandwichería, rematando con una esmerada cafetería acompañada por exquisitos bocados dulces o medialunas artesanales disfrutando de las más variadas Exposiciones de Arte que son el deleite del lugar. Hoy, en plena city porteña, Hipólito Restó & Arte es reconocido por su gastronomía y es un símbolo de difusión de nuestro arte, no sólo en su espacio, sino también en reconocidos portales de arte, medios de comunicación y culturales, nacionales e internacionales.
